academy tryouts

U7 (2017) to High School (2007)

We hold our large yearly tryouts to select teams for league and some tournament play. Players who accept an offerr are guaranteed a roster spot for November – July at tryouts.

A supplemental tryout is held to fill roster spots. In summer months we might evaluate other players who might want to join our program for the months of June and July. Returning players do not need to attend this tryout.

Offers will be sent to the email address used when registering for tryouts on or before September 15. Offers are valid for 24 hours and must be accepted on the GSS website through PlayMetrics with a deposit.

There will be a Zoom meeting at the beginning of the season for Q&A. Time TBD.

GSF players may not play for another futsal club/team unless given the express consent from a GSF director. No GSF player can play for another futsal club/team against another GSF team in a tournament.

Teams will roster approximately 7 - 9 players.

Teams are chosen by the tier listed below.

  • GSF Gold - 1st

  • GSF Green - 2nd

  • GSF Black - 3rd

We would like at least one parent volunteer to be a Team Admin for each team. Please email Admin@getsharpsoccer.com if you’re interested.

skill training program

All Get Sharp Academy Players 2017 - 2011 will have one session of skill training per week. Our proven skill training curriculum was developed by our GSF staff. Over the years we have fine-tuned this program to yield the highest success for players. Players will learn seven new moves during each skill training session and will get over a thousand touches on the ball in a single session. We put a huge emphasis on these sessions. At the highest level of play, The best futsal players can beat their opponent 1 on 1.

This training makes up the Academy program, elevating players to the highest level. Players who have not made an Academy team can choose to partake in our skill training program to develop their skill to the level of our Academy Program.
